It's never too late to learn fundamentals!
To practice yoga you don't need to be flexible in the body, only flexible in the mind. In this workshop, we will explore basic yoga class etiquette, breath and meditation techniques. You will learn step-by-step foundational postures, including modifications or adjustments to fit your needs and abilities. This workshop will include demonstrations of postures, answer your questions, and provide immediate feedback to ensure you establish a practice safe for your body.
Students will leave with a basic understanding of proper alignment and the confidence to join beginner and all level classes. This workshop is ideal for people new to the practice of yoga, as well as for more seasoned students who want a review of the basics.
