Ambient Flow

  • glow yoga sf 1548 Stockton Street San Francisco, CA, 94133 United States (map)

We are proud to share that 100% of our profits from this class are being donated to the Sierra Nevada Camp Fire Relief Fund

Ambient Flow is an all levels Vinyasa Flow accompanied by improvised, looped, dreamy electric guitar and keyboards by Alex Eliopoulos, of the SF-based experimental rock band Impuritan. The composition is highly improvised, with subtle rhythmic elements, as an aural complement to physical and spiritual practice. This class is perfect for those that enjoy the synergy of yoga & experimental live sounds.

Landra blends her 400+ hours of yoga, mindfulness & meditation training to curate a unique class focused on mindful asana movement. Ambient Flow allows students to cultivate present moment awareness inviting an easeful flow and rhythm into the body. Class concludes with dropping into a sound meditation, ending with a restorative savasana to rest & restore balance in the body, heart & mind.

“I’ve attended Landra and Alex’s Ambient Flow yoga sessions many times, and it’s truly a unique experience every time. As far as music and yoga, I prefer non-verbal associations to get into a different mindset. The Ambient Flow class does this with its live music as a backdrop sound that echoes the movements in the class subtly while not over shadowing class instruction. I highly recommend it for a special break” ~Lizzy | Yoga Student
